Small leaves
Molybdenum deficiency reduces the utilisation of nitrates by the plant and so will stunt growth in some crops, such as leaf development in OSR. Zinc on the other hand can cause this symptom in potatoes (and other crops) due to its role in the production of a main plant growth hormone (auxin).
