Iron

Iron is very closely associated with chlorophyll formation and photosynthesis (the process by which the plant converts water and carbon dioxide into sugars using energy from sunlight). Therefore the main deficiency symptom is a strong yellowing of new foliage (almost white). Iron can not easily be reused by the plant and so the symptoms appear on the newest leaves. This is not a common deficiency in UK soils but where required we offer our product 'Foliar Feed' that contains many nutrients including iron.
